  NON WARRANTY REPAIRS
 


Most NON warranty repairs can be identified in three ways:

1. Physical damage -
If a phone is dropped, squashed or dented e.g., a cracked housing, LCD and/or lens voids warranty.

2. Liquid ingression-
Means some kind of moisture has entered the phone. Some phones have a water damage indicator, a small white label on battery and phone. If it becomes red then warranty is void. Otherwise look at base connector the gold contacts and battery contacts for discolouration or corrosion. In some cases it is very difficult to see the evidence of liquid ingression with the naked eye. Sydney Cellular uses the latest in technology to identify liquid ingression by using microscopes and the aid of photoes to help in diagnoses. 3. Out of manufacturer’s warranty-
All phones generally have a 1 year manufacturer’s warranty, unless otherwise specified in the warranty certificate found in the box.

NOTE: All non warranty repairs are covered for one month for fault repaired. Always back up data as there is a chance data can be lost during the repair process. Sydney Mobile phone repairs can offer a back up of data service. Please contact us for further assistance.
